What is the scar gel?
The scar gel is a transparent silicone gel containing polysiloxane. The scar treatment gel is used to improve the appearance of scars or reduce the formation of scar tissue. The gel is easy to apply to the scar, is non-sticky and absorbs quickly.

What is the scar gel used for?
The gel reduces scar formation and hides hypertrophic and keloid scars, e.g. B. for burns, acne, surgeries, injuries and infections of the skin. Raised scars can also be treated with the gel. The gel can be applied to both fresh and older scars. Using the scar gel results in the scars becoming flatter, softer, more elastic and less visible. In addition, the scar gel reduces skin redness, discoloration and thickening of the skin as well as itching and pain caused by scars. The sooner you start treating the scar with the scar gel, the less likely it is that a permanent scar will form.

Use the scar gel if:

• the redness of a scar persists long after the wound has healed.
• a fresh scar is thickening, expanding, or causing discomfort.
• an older scar causes discomfort.
